Welcome to faith at Crossroad Church

New To Faith

Dear Friend,

You may be exploring Christianity for the first time, or returning after some time away – we want to sincerely welcome you!

You are deeply loved by God, the Creator of Heaven and Earth. He longs to have a personal relationship with you and embrace you as His own child. You may have been sensing the presence and voice of God in your life, this is your chance for a powerful encounter with Him. If you’re ready to lay down your burdens and surrender your heart to God, we’d love to extend a personal invitation for you to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior right here, right now. Here’s how –

Step 1: Pray the Sinner’s Prayer

We invite you to pray the Sinner’s Prayer with a sincere heart –

Lord Jesus,

I confess that I am a sinner and I need Your forgiveness. Thank You for dying on the cross for me and for rising again in victory over death. I turn away from my sins right now and I ask You to forgive me, cleanse me, and come into my life. I surrender my heart to You – I want You to be my Lord and Savior. Help me to follow You from this day forward. Thank You for welcoming me into Your family with open arms. I receive Your forgiveness and Your new life right now. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

Congratulations on making the most important decision of your life! Welcome to God’s family!

Step 2: Read the Bible

Now that you’ve given your life to Jesus, reading the Bible is one of the most important things you can do. Through the Bible, you’ll begin to hear God speak to your heart, learn how much He loves you, and discover how He wants to help you live. Start small — just 5–10 minutes a day. Many people find it helpful to read in the morning or before going to bed. You may want to begin by reading the Gospel of John or the Book of Psalms. You don’t have to understand everything right away. Just be consistent. May the Holy Spirit guide you and teach you as you read!

Step 3: Find a Local Church

Now that you’ve started this new journey with Jesus, make church a regular part of your life. This is about staying connected to God and His family. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you come. Just start by attending every Sunday for the next 4–6 weeks. Most people notice a big difference after being consistent for a month. Also, get involved in a small group or Bible study when you’re ready — that’s where many people form real friendships and find incredible spiritual support.

We’d love to become your church family! If you’re traveling or need a place closer to home, look for a church that teaches the Bible, loves people, and points you to Jesus. May God bless you, strengthen your faith, and lead you to your new church family!

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
