1. What is Water Baptism?

Water baptism is an outward celebration of your personal decision to follow Jesus Christ. It symbolizes your old life being buried with Christ and rising to new life in Him. It is an act of obedience and a public declaration of your faith.

2. Why should I get baptized?

Jesus Himself was baptized and commanded His followers to be baptized (Matthew 28:19). It’s a meaningful way to publicly identify with Jesus and share your faith with others. Many people describe it as a powerful spiritual milestone.

3. Who should get baptized?

Anyone who has made a personal decision to trust Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

4. How old do you need to be to be baptized?

We baptize adults and young people who have reached a mature age (around 15 years old). This is so individuals are old enough to understand what it means to trust in Jesus as their Savior and commit their lives to Him.

The class prepares you for baptism. You’ll learn the meaning of baptism, go over the practical details, learn how the service works, and have the opportunity to share your testimony.
